| Home Welcome to TheDramaPod We are a website dedicated to stories. Unlike most pod casts that are hosted by only one or two people, we have a dedicated team of writers, actors, artists, musicians and sound
technicians to bring these stories to life. Unlike pod cast novels which are audio books written
by people who want to become authors, we are a website focused on script writing.
If travelling to work is boring, the work you do puts your brain on automatic or you like to
spend some time on your own, then this is the website for you. You can download the shows
onto your Ipod or burn them onto a cd/dvd.
We will cover all kinds of stories from swashbuckling one legged pirates, malevolent star faring
aliens, cuddly little gnomes and even a romantic story or two. Heck we may even throw in a
vampire or two just for fun.
If you think you have a great idea for a movie or a play why not write it and send it to us?
Make sure your read our submission guidelines at http://www.thedramapod.com/page4.php and then you can
email it to submissions@thedramapod.com and if we like it we will act it out, add a few sound
effects and breathe life into your story. There is nothing more exciting than knowing your story
is entertaining people around the world and we want all of you to share in this experience.
News 21st May, 2008 Our artists are working hard at producing the covers for our first podcast shows and I have recently received our cover
art for a podcast show titled A pound of flesh. Lets just say the main character in this story isn't a particularly nice person.
This podcast will be rated (M).
17th May, 2008 Our first shows will be recorded on the 25th of May and after post production we will be placing our first
pod casts on this website. I will announce which shows will be going to air shortly.
Podcasting Genres Planned so far:
recorded on the 25th of March. This will be part of a trilogy, stay tuned for more details.
Also a series called the DramaQueen is being planned.
